Please note that payment for initial review is compulsory for research submitted to the IHSU-REC for ethical review and approval. And in the event that the researcher needs the process of review to be speeded up (expedited review), an additional fee should be paid as indicated in the table on the previous page.
Also note that annual review applies to on-going approved studies that exceed a period of one (1) year. Revisions and amendments applies to studies that have been approved but the researcher would like to include a few documents/concepts/ideas to the previous version submitted or approved by the Research Ethics Committee (REC).
