Masaka Secondary School

Masaka Secondary School is a mixed, day and boarding middle and high school, located in Masaka District, in Central Uganda. And also is a Muslim school which teaches Arabic though it also welcomes non-Muslims.

 Founded in 1954, Masaka SS, which is among the traditional secondary schools in the country, has a student population of 4,000 with the majority of them day scholars.

Classes in Uganda are not based on age because a lot of children drop out and re-enter school based on whether or not they can afford to pay the school fees.
