Our admission is direct entry, all S.1 students who gave us first choice are selected directly from the ministry from aggregate 4 to 18. Those who did not give us a priority are also taken in after interviewing mathematics and English which is marked, and feedback is given there and then. Our pass mark is 50% below and no admission is given.
For S.5, a candidate must have scored a credit of 4 and below to be admitted for any science combination in all the subjects he/she wants to offer (a total of 12). For the arts combination, one must have scored a C6 and below.

Holy Cross Lakeview SSS has a culture of very serious academic work characterized by effective teaching, regular tests, student discussions, debates, assignments and seminars. Results from regular tests are available for parents to assess the academic performance/progress of their children.
To effect this, the parents are given a form that comprises all the subjects and papers their child offers and moves with it to the different teachers who teach the child for advice and guidance. Holy Cross Lakeview SSS offers education, which enhances the employability potential. There is a belief in preparing students for the world of work. The availability and quality of education on offer to students is excellent.
