Motherwell Junior School stands on two campuses where one accommodates the Primary section and another one the Pre-Primary section. Both are situated in Mutungo village along Circular Road. Motherwell Junior School is situated in a very good learning environment with some unique facilities.
Curriculum:
Motherwell Junior School runs the National Curriculum set by the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) with English, Mathematics, Basic Science, Social Studies and R.E as the four subjects examined by UNEB at primary seven levels. In the lower Primary section (P.1- P.3), Motherwell Junior School runs the Thematic Curriculum which was introduced by the Ministry of Education & Sports some years ago with literacy and numeracy as its cornerstones.
Alongside the above; Motherwell Junior School has French, Arts and Crafts and Computer Studies. We also have Physical Education.

We have chosen what we feel are the best international curricula available: For the years 1 to 6 (Nursery) a comprehensive, thematic, creative curriculum with a clear process of learning is followed. It has specific learning goals for international mindedness and for personal learning based on cooperation, communication, thoughtfulness, respect, resilience and morality.
The National Curriculum is followed for the primary section. As a school, we value the importance of the creative and performing arts and the role they play in not only positively impacting academic achievement, but also in developing, amongst other things, self-esteem, confidence, collaboration, appreciation and enjoyment.
