UNEB Brief Education Minister 2020 UACE Students’ Performance Today

KAMPALA – Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will on today, Wednesday afternoon, August 18, 2021, brief the Education Minister, Janet Museveni, on the outcomes of the 2020 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE).

The briefing, a precursor to the release of the results, is expected to take place at State House, Kampala.

The event will take place at 12:00pm, UNEB said in a short statement released on Monday, August 16.

The briefing will be done by Dan Odongo, the UNEB’s executive secretary and the board’s chairperson, Prof. Mary Okwakol among others officials.

After the briefing, an announcement of the official date for the release of the results, and the related modalities will be done but sources already say, the exam results will be released on Friday, August 20, 2021.

As was the case with releases of PLE and UCE, the process is expected to be conducted ‘scientifically’, in observance of the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS).

Candidates, parents and stakeholders will be able to access the results via SMS by typing UACE <Space> Full Index Number, e.g. U1016/001 and send to 6600 on all mobile telecom networks.

Headteachers and school Administrators will access the results through the UNEB portal using their usual details.
