Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Project MLE framework implementation (60%)

  • Coordinate with project partners and short term enumerators on field data collection and verification in accordance with the project MLE framework.
  • Participate in field work activities for monitoring the correct usage of technological tool for data collection and the verification process.
  • Provide trainings on MLE tools and reporting processes to the project partners .
  • Assist the PM in ensuring that all tools for results documentations are followed by the business partners.
  • Compile data that are collected from IAP business partners.
  • Organise training workshops and learning events including match making.
  • Conduct the documentation of field impact stories and project communications in collaboration with SNV communication docket.
  • Compile lessons learnt and best practices of the project.
  • Support the tracking of IB partner milestone progress and reporting and verifications.
  • Take notes during project meetings for sharing with stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update project filing in the SNV internal standard systems and provide regular reports to Team.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

Project operations (40%)

  • Coordinate with internal structures to arrange for field work. activities.
  • Prepare program documentation and other paper work as will be directed by the PM.
  • Keep the IAP team calendar up to date, arrange meetings and appointments.
  • Manage travel arrangements for IAP team members and visitors of the project in coordination with internal structures.
  • Take and file good photos for IAP events, site visits etc.
  • Provide other project implementation support as may be required from time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a second class upper Bachelor’s degree in any of these areas: (Business administration, development studies, Business Statistics, Monitoring Learning and Evaluation)
  • At least three years’ working experience implementing a development project partnering with private sector enterprises in Agriculture, Energy or WASH.
  • Understanding and experience in project monitoring Learning and evaluation framework and tools.
  • Experience with writing project impact stories is an added advantage
  • Able to take initiatives, identify needs and craft ways to meet them
  • Good organizing and interpersonal skills
  • Good communicator able to professionally express ideas and follow through issues
  • Proficient most office computer applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Emails)
