Ntinda Vocational Training Institute (NTVTI) is a public institution under the Ministry of Education and Sports which was established through cooperation between the Governments of South Korea and Uganda for the job seekers, the unemployed, the youth and incumbent workers. It is strategically located in Ntinda, a Suburb 3 km east of the capital city Kampala, next to one of Kampala’s industrial zones. This gives an opportunity for its trainees to interact with the world of work relevant to their fields

The Two Year National Certificate Courses offered include:

  1. Fashion and Garment Design
  2. Welding and Fabrication
  3. Plumbing
  4. Automotive Mechanics
  5. Electrical Installation Systems and Maintenance

Two modes of Training are available from Monday to Friday every week:

Day Session:           08:00am – 4:00pm

Evening Session:     4.00pm – 8.00pm

Term I:        11th February 2019 to 10th May 2019

Term II:       4th June 2019 to 30th August 2019

Term III:      24th September 2019 to 7th December 2019

Application Fees:                    Shs 35,000 including the Bank Charge

Target Group:                          O-level or its equivalent

Boarding Facilities:                 Not Available (All Government VTIs in Kampala currently do not have this provision. But we do recommend our trainees to known Private Hostels)

Note that we train youths and adults who;

  • already have a vision on what they want to become in this world by specializing and focusing in their dream fields of study
  • want to obtain employment in factories, industries, sites, workshops and setting up self-employment in future
  • after completion of a national certificate, one can later progress in academics while they work and become great Engineers, Politicians, Instructors, Business Men and Women
