Nile University Uganda Bursaries for Needy Students 2019-2020

AGRICULTURE AND EDUCATION PROGRAMMES.

Nile University is a Private University licensed by National Council for Higher Education, Located in Arua – West-Nile – Uganda.
It is Nile University’s Core Value to Provide High quality University education for the best Knowledge and Skills to meet the development needs of our Society as well as raising the intellectual standards of the people of West Nile Region and the Country at large. With the 2019/2020 Academic year beginning on 23rd August 2019, Nile University has offered 100 Tuition University Education Bursaries only for Day programmes and only in the Business Administration and Management; Agriculture and Education programmes to be undertaken only at Degree level.
(10 BURSARIES PER EACH DISTRICT)
Nile University, therefore, requests the General public and all the prospective Students to buy and submit their applications directly to The Registrar not later than 30th June 2019 for 2019/2020 Academic year intake and not later than 30th Nov. 2019 for January 2020 intake.
NOTE:
The Qualifiers shall be selected before July 2019 and December-2019 respectively.

BURSARY TERMS & CONDITIONS:
All Bursaries on Degree Level are entitled to the Following Exemptions:
(a) A Student Must Pay 50% of the Tuition Fees for the Six Semesters during the Three Years of his/her degree Course at Nile University.
(b) 100 [Hundred] Bursaries for only Day programmes and only in the Business Administration and Management; Agriculture and Education programmes to be undertaken only at Degree level.
(c) All People intending to apply for Bursaries must obtain Bursary Application forms at U.Shs. 22.300/= [Twenty Two thousand, Three Hundred Shillings] only from the Registrar’s Office, Finance Officer, from the University Website www.nileuniversity.ac.ug and from the various
District Education Offices in West Nile region.
(d) A Bursary Qualifier must be that person who has the capacity to pay for the remaining percentage of the Tuition fees for his/her Three year Course and the annual Functional fees.
(e) All Bursaries are offered only for Day Degree Programs
(f) At the time when the Bursary Student holder is to pay the remaining percentage of his/her Tuition, the payments must be done in the Normal way, the official Bank account, and at the actual time as other students do it.
(g) Bring a recommendation from your Religious Leader and from the L.C. 1. of your area.
NOTE: Bursaries Only Cater for Tuition Fees of the Student at the University. [NOT FUNCTIONAL FEES]
For Other Requirements Such as Scholastic Materials, Registration Fees, Identity Card, Accommodation, Feeding, Text Books, Medical and others are the responsibility of both the Student and his
Parent/Guardian/Sponsor.
