Masaka School of Comprehensive Nursing is a Government founded health training institution. It is located 110 kilometers from Kampala in Western Central Uganda, in Masaka District within Masaka Municipality,Katwe Butego Parish and its adjacent to Masaka Regional Referral Hospital. The School was established in 1946 to train dressers for the X men who were cleaning wounds. It later started training certificate nurses on enrollment level in 1966 but closed due to some unavoidable circumstances.It later opened to teach certificate in comprehensive nursing and in 1992 it started training Diploma in Comprehensinve nursing.Currently its training Diploma in comprehensive nursing both direct and Extension,Diploma in midwifery and General nursing
