It was founded by a group of voluntary educationists and teachers who felt pity for the disadvantaged and orphaned children on the streets and in very poor homes and those whose parents died of AIDS. The school is founded on Christian faith pillars and is both secondary and vocational. The school is expected to accommodate 550 pupils both females and males when completed.
