Gombe is a co-educational government-aided school with a current student population of over 2300. We offer general academic subjects and vocational, 20 in number, and a wide spectrum of sports activities. The school, though Muslim Founded, admits students of all faiths. It provides secular education which is in line with Uganda national goals and objectives of education and at the same time teaches basic Quran recitation and basic Islamic knowledge to Muslim students:
Gombe Secondary School follows a syllabus provided by the National Curriculum Development Centre in all subjects. It accepts students from the age of 13 years into the lower school where they follow a comprehensive range of subjects in preparation for U.N.E.B examinations. The “O” Level programme is four years with S.1 and S.2 offering a range of up to 18 subjects while those in S.3 and S.4 will offer 10 subjects. The “A” level programme is two years and students will be allowed to take up to 3 principle subjects, and 2 Subsidiary subjects.

The List
1 One recent passport size of the student
2. One recent passport-size photo of father, mother or guardian each glued on the form
3. Copy of the birth certificate
4. A recent school report and/or a leaving certificate
Where external exams have been taken, the results certificate(s)
