Iganga Girls Secondary School is a girl’s institution with a few visually impaired students located in the eastern part of Uganda.
Iganga district has 153 government-aided primary schools and 380 private primary schools. There are 12 government-aided secondary schools while the private and recognized secondary schools are 35.
Iganga High School, located in the heart of Uganda, has a rich history that dates back to 1967. Originally known as Vithalidas Haridas Primary School, the institution was established by Asians living in Uganda at the time.
