Kololo S.S. prides itself in instilling core values such as Fearing God, Integrity, Hard work, and Teamwork in its students. These values have been the driving force behind the success of the institution, which attained the status of a Model Universal Secondary Education School in 2007. The school has a rich history of nurturing doers and leaders by creating an academic atmosphere where great ideas and unexpected discoveries rule the day.

The educational experiences at Kololo S.S. change the lives of its students, and by extension, the communities they serve as experts and professionals. The school’s commitment to academic excellence is evidenced by its consistent performance in national exams. Kololo S.S. is a beacon of hope for learners in Uganda, offering a safe and conducive environment for learning and personal growth.

Kololo S.S. follows the Secondary Education National curriculum in Uganda. It is a six year cycle from Senior one to Senior six having learners with average age between 13 years and 19 years.

The Ministry of Education and Sports launched the new lower secondary curriculum in 2020, and Kololo Senior Secondary School is one of many USE-government-aided institutions that has fully embraced it.

The new lower secondary curriculum aims to provide a more holistic and skills-based education for students, focusing on critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical application of knowledge. Kololo Senior Secondary School has integrated these principles into their teaching methods and curriculum, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
