ONLINE LECTURES FOR SEMESTER II, 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR
Muni University Senate during its’ 24th Meeting held on Tuesday 6th July 2021 under Minute Number MIN 10.0/MUS/024/2021 (c) (i), discussed and approved Online Lectures for Semester II 2020/2021 Academic Year,
with effect from Monday 19th July 2021.
In effect therefore, BE INFORMED THAT:
[1] The Online lectures will be conducted in line with the Muni University Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) policy. Lectures will be delivered on “MUELE” (Muni University e-Learning Environment).
[2] Semester II 2020/2021 AY will commence on 19th July 2021, and end on 24th October 2021 (i.e., Lectures and Examination).
[3] Only courses/course units that do not require practical (laboratory) and field work will be delivered online. Practical components will be taught as and when conditions allow.
[4] In order to minimize backlogs and overloads, faculties/departments are required to teach pending recess term courses concurrently with selected Semester II courses.
[5] Deans/Directors and Heads of Academic Department are required to prepare and communicate teaching timetable/s for Online lectures by close of business of Wednesday 14th July 2021.
[6] STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ENROLL, PAY FEES AND REGISTER
FOR SEMESTER II 2020/2021 AY. Enrolment will commence with effect from Monday 19th July 2021.
[7] Semester I examinations that were suspended at the advent of second Covid-19 lockdown will be administered physically (face-to-face) after the lockdown.
Finally, you are IMPLORED to continue observing Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and also remain healthy.
