- Participation in games and sports is based on halls
- On completion of the course students are required to clear with their hall of attachment.
- The registration process begins at hall level before the central or university registration.
- In the event of sickness at the university, the warden or student leader takes responsibility to deliver the sick to the university medical center.
- In the event of death, the warden processes funds for burial expenses from the university and ensures delivery of the body to the rest place. NB; This is done for only students who have paid fully the university dues and fully registered with the university.

- All students are encouraged to stick to the name which they are registered with the university at all times to avoid inconveniences.
- The university has restaurants where students can buy food or pre-pay for food for a full semester.
NB; Cooking of any kind is strictly prohibited. Cooking gadgets and food will be confiscated.
- Government sponsored students whether resident or non-resident are paid allowances on application as follows;
- Residents are only paid food allowance and
- Non-residents are paid both food and living out allowance.
- The money is paid to students using mobile money; therefore, all government sponsored students are advised to have their telephone numbers registered in their names registered with the university.Application forms for the allowances are picked from Warden’s office after fully registering with the university and payment of functional fees.
- In case a student who is resident does not want to stay in the halls of residence, or non-resident wants to reside in the halls, they should write to the Dean of students through their wardens explaining the reasons for this decision. The Dean of student will reply to them in writing. Failure to do this a student’s allowances will be affected in one way or another.
- The university communicates to students on notice boards, students are encouraged to read what is displayed to avoid missing information.
8. Students accommodated in private hostels should abide by the rules and regulations there. University rules and regulations also apply in the hostels. The university can guide students and parents on the appropriate hostels to occupy. NB; Students remain Kyambogo university responsibility even if they sleep in hostels.
9. Students with disability; all students are encouraged to help and understand this category of students.
Students in this category should note this;
- The university provides a guide to students who are visually impaired, or have any other serious case.
- The deaf are provided with an interpreter for academic work.
- You are advised to go to your Wardens for guidance on the above to avoid people who hijack students in this category in the name of making money.
- Students can access equipment for disability to support them on application to the Disability Committee, through their Wardens.
10. All students are encouraged to participate in the available games and sports in order to develop their talents since this is a catchment area for different teams at national level. Those interested can approach their sports secretaries. (Details can be got from the Sports Tutors).
