Regardless of the programmes offered, there will be compulsory international foundation Programmes / Courses in Computer Science; English Proficiency; Ethics and Mathematics for all students. The International Foundation Programme is for students who want to develop their academic English and their subject knowledge before beginning a degree.

The IFP is a 1-year intensive course that leads to entry to a wide range of BSc programmes. The programme runs for 34 weeks and is divided into two semesters each 17 weeks long, where the student will have intensive English language teaching and study skills to prepare him/her for the first year of a wide range of University degrees.

Students study nine courses (modules) in total, spread over the duration of the programme to provide an even workload. The courses are divided into two groups: Compulsory and Major. Four courses are compulsory: English, Mathematics, Ethics and Creativity and Innovation.

The six Major Academic courses will vary from relevant to the student’s future degree programme.
