Kampala Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) was established in 2013 as a health Science training institute. Its goal is to build capacity in the health sector. Our major course offered is diploma in clinical medicine and community health. Other health related programmes at certificate and diploma level are to be introduced one by one with institutional growth.
As it grows, the institute will turn into a university that will award degrees.
Students who train in the institute ought to have the requirements as set by the Ministry of Education and Sports and follow the curriculum as lay down by the professional councils.
The institute has sought accreditation by the National Council for Higher Education, MOE and Sports.
Our students are examined by Uganda Allied Health Examination Board under the Ministry of Education.
