The Makerere University (MAK) has commenced the Installation of Modern Furniture for the Central Teaching Facility (CTF 1 & 2)

I am glad to inform students and staff that supply and installation of modern furniture for the new Buildings; Central Teaching Facility 1 & 2 (CTF 1 & 2) commenced today, 1st October 2019 and will end on Sunday 6th October 2019. Items include; 4850 student chairs with adjustable writing pads as well as 50 and 80 Cafeteria tables and chairs respectively.
Rehabilitated laboratories at the College of Education and External Studies (CEES) and College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) will also receive a total of 500 laboratory stools.
This is the first phase of furniture installation under the ADB HEST ( African Development Bank support to Higher Education, Science and Technology) project.
