The Uganda Christian University (UCU) to start an Entrepreneurship and Business Incubator

Uganda Christian University (UCU) Faculty of Business Administration has received a cheque worth € 14,600, approximately UGX59 million shillings from the Hanze University of Applied Science in the Netherlands, to develop an entrepreneurship and business incubation center.

The cheque was received by Prof. Michael Masanza and Dean of Faculty of Business Administration and Management Dr. Martin Lwanga.

According to the Head of Department Entrepreneurship and Management Planning, Elsie Nseyona the support will enable them equip students with modern entrepreneurship skills. 

Dr. Linda Maat, the Director Hanze University Foundation, said that the donation will be used for developing students’ business and entrepreneurship incubation center. Prior to this, Hanze also trained UCU staff on entrepreneurial skills.

She noted that Hanze has worked with more than five UCU faculties which include; Education, Business and Administration, Social Sciences and Journalism, Media and Communication.
