Kyambogo University Admission Letters 2019/2020
The new admission list is available on Kyambogo University website kyu.ac.ug and can be accessed here on this website.
N.B: If you do not find your name on the list published on the University website, please consider yourself unsuccessful.
The Academic Registrar Kyambogo University would like to inform the public that the admission letters for the listed students below will be ready by 12, July 2019
Important Information
This is to inform all Applicants for Private Entry Academic Year 2019/2020 as follows:
- Admission lists are on Kyambogo University Website www.kyu.ac.ug.
- The admission letter will be picked starting July 12, 2019, from respective Faculties/School.
- Change of programme application will take place between July 12th and July 21st 2019.
- Appeal applications ongoing. Appeals are for the applicant who meets the minimum admission requirements and cut off points and already submitted an application form and applied online. Please go to Admissions Block Room 3. There is no appeal fee(s) charged.
- The University is not receiving new or fresh applications.
NB Please be aware of any conmen/women that would wish to extort money from you.

Guidelines for issuing out Admission Letters for Academic Year 2019/2020
This is to inform you that the admission letters for fresh undergraduate students, admitted through Direct Entry Scheme, for the Academic year 2019/2020 will be issued out from your respective Faculties/Schools.
Please see the attached map for the directions to your respective Faculty/School.
In order for one to be issued with the admission letter, he/she should present his/her A’level identity card of the previous school.
Please be informed that;
- Admission letters for National Merit, Disability Scheme, Talented Sports Persons and District Quota are being issued out from THE Admissions Building Block 02 Room 03.
- The admission letters for government-sponsored students that were admitted through the Diploma holder’s scheme are not yet ready and will be picked at a date to be communicated.
- Admission letters for international students and those whose appeal will be issued from Admissions Building Block 02 Room 03 at the date to be communicated.
- Issuance of the admission letters is free of charge and the cases of soliciting for a fee should be reported to the academic registrar’s office, Tel@ +256 – 705.767 169
