How to Apply to the Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba (UPIK)
Application Procedure
Candidates normally apply directly to the Principal, UPIK. Government sponsored students will be applying directly to Joint Admissions Board (JAB) of the Ministry responsible for Education.

Application Mode:
Hard copies of Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Academic Registrar OR see below to download the application form and return after payment of non-refundable application fee of 55,000/= (Bank charges inclusive) to Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba, Stanbic Bank, Account Number: 9030011633454, Kigumba Branch. The online application will be considered upon proof of payment of application fee.
Eligible Candidates should have:
A) National Qualification
1. At least two principal passes at A’level at the same siting in Physics and mathematics plus a subsidiary pass in either Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Fine Art or ICT OR its equivalent.
2. At least a Credit National Certificate in any related engineering field obtained from recognised institution or its equivalent.
B) International Vocational Qualifications (IVQ)
Prior learning in the relevant field or at least one Year’s Industrial experience.
