VUU Fees Structure / Tuition Fees
Application and Administration Fee
EA Nationals: UGX 200,000 Non-EA Nationals: US$ 100
This non-refundable fee is paid upon application and covers the application form, admission test, exam fees, transcripts, and certificates.
Tuition Fees
MA International Development, MSc Public Health
EA Nationals: UGX 700,000 per course; Non EA Nationals US$ 400 per course
Dissertation Fee
EA Nationals: UGX 1.500,000 Non EA Nationals US$ 650
PGDIP/MSc ICT4D
EA Nationals: UGX 750,000 per course; Non EA Nationals US$ 425 per course
Dissertation Fee
EA Nationals: UGX 1.500,000 Non EA Nationals US$ 650
PGDip / Executive MBA
EA Nationals: UGX 800,000 per course; Non EA Nationals US$ 450 per course
Dissertation Fee

EA Nationals refers to applicants from the countries of the East African Community.
The taught courses can be completed in two calendar years; the dissertation takes a further six months to complete.

Additional information about fees
All research costs are borne by the student. All module fees are inclusive of registration costs, examination fees, and graduation fees (gowns not included — these can be bought or hired at a reasonable price should you wish to graduate on campus).
Re-sit examinations are subject to fees of UGX 30,000 (EAC) or USD 15 for non-EAC.
Special examinations are subject to fees of UGX 50,000 (EAC) or USD 20 for non-EAC.
Note that fees are likely to incur an increase of at least 6% per year.
All fees must be paid into the university bank accounts using the correct bank slip for Shillings, Dollars, or Euros.
Remember that you are responsible for all bank charges.

Payment instructions
Download the appropriate bank payment slip, fill it in carefully, then submit the completed form to your bank. Be sure to have all three parts (A,B,C) stamped by the bank. The bank will keep part (A). You must keep parts (B) and (C). Part (B) must be submitted to us (VUU) in order to complete the payment process. You should scan this and send it by email.
