The Chairman Admissions Board, Kyambogo University, informs all applicants for the 2019/2020 Academic Year, that the admission list which was published in the New Vision Friday,June 21,2019, had technical errors and therefore should be disregarded. The new admission list is available on Kyambogo University website, www.kyu.ac.ug.

Kyambogo University has admitted 20363 students for 2019/2020 Academic Year slated to start
on the 3rd August 2019. Among these, 19747 have been admitted at the main campus, 405 admitted at Soroti Learning center, 435 at Bushenyi Learning center and 76 were admitted at AICM Kabale. Under National merit, 439 students were admitted and 179 admitted on district quota.
The course that attracted many applicants was Bachelor of Education with over 1700 students admitted on day and 739 admitted on evening program, Bachelor of Business Administration with 1197students on day and 457on evening program and Bachelor of Accounting and Finance with 900 students, 450 admitted on day and 450 admitted on evening program.
Dr. Anne Begumisa, the Academic Registrar Kyambogo University said direct entry admission lists are available on the University website www. kyu.ac.ug and that the Admission’s board has met and selected applicants for Diploma entry scheme according to intake capacities approved by Senate. She said Admission letters will be ready by 12th July 2019 and students will pick them from their respective faculties. Change of Program application will take place between July 12th and July 21st 2019.
