African Bible University: The use of Exodus in Revelation 2019

  • Time:  2:00 pm – 12:50 pm
  • Venue: African Bible University, Kampala (Opposite Quality Shopping Village)
  •  Speaker: Drew Goodman
ABOUT EVENT
Revelation alludes to the OT perhaps more than any other book in the NT. Exodus is significant source of OT allusions, and it is widely acknowledged that Exodus themes are woven throughout the book. The course will explore the exegetical meaning of select Exodus texts, and examine how Revelation makes use of Exodus textually, hermeneutically, theologically, and pastorally. Knowledge of Hebrew and Greek is highly recommended, but students without Hebrew and Greek knowledge can still benefit. A study of Exodus in Revelation contributes to the Church’s understanding of the theological and pastoral message of Revelation.
