About Islamic Call University College
The Islamic Call Univerity College came into existence as a result of the memorandum of understanding signed between the World Islamic Call Society (WICS) and the Uganda Moslem Supreme Council (UMSC).
The Islamic Call University College (ICUC) was inaugurated on the 20th January 2012 at its initial campus located at the Uganda Moslem Supreme Council headquarters, Old Kampala.
The university was licensed by the National Council for Higher Education on 21st March 2011 and issued with a provisional license to operate as a private university in Uganda.

Admission into ICUC is made twice every academic year; in August and in January. The academic year begins in August and ends in July.
Students have the option to enroll for the Day or Weekend Programmes.
Day programmes are conducted from Monday to Friday starting at 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
While the weekend programmes are conducted on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Weekend programmes are tailored for the convenience of employed students who have to keep at their jobs during the weekdays.
Admission / Entry Requirements
Undergraduate
For the undergraduate degree programmes, applicants should have one of:
- At least 5 passes at O’ level (UCE) and at least 2 principal passes at A’level (UACE)
- A Diploma qualification from a recognized institution of Higher Learning; or
- A pass in Mature Age Examinations.
Diploma
For the diploma programmes, applicants should have one of:
- At least 5 passes at O’ level (UCE) and atleast 1 Principal pass at A’ level (UACE) plus 2 subsidiary passes; or,
- The equivalent of the above.
