How is aloe Vera gel prepared?
To prepare Aloe Vera gel Sodium metabisulphite, Methyl paraben sodium and Propyl paraben sodium were dissolved in water.
Gelling agent was added to it and stirred continuously till it got swollen completely.
Triethanolamine was slowly added to the dispersion with continuous stirring which resulted in a stiff gel.
How do you extract aloe Vera gel from a plant?
Step 1: Before Extracting The Aloe, Wash Your Hands!
Step 2: Slice off an Aloe Vera Leaf.
Step 3: Drain Out the Resin.
Step 4: Cut Off the Spiky Sides.
Step 5: Peel Off the Aloe Skin.
Step 6: Scoop Out the Gel into a Sterilized Container.
Can I use aloe Vera gel directly from the plant?
It’s usually safe to use also Vera directly from the plant or you can buy it in gel form. Aloe Vera creams, gels, and ointments contain the clear gel found in aloe Vera leaves.
