UPU Undergraduate Entry Requirements


Entry requirements to a degree programme
The minimum entry requirements for admission to a degree programme are:

  1. Uganda Certificate of Education (O’Level) with a minimum of five passes
  2. Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education ( A ‘Level) with a minimum of two principle passes obtained at the same sitting; or
  3. A relevant Diploma from an institution of higher learning recognised by National Council for Higher Education, or
  4. A pass in mature age entry examinations with at least 50% and must be 25years and above. The mature age entry examinations must have been accredited by the National Council for Higher Education.

Applications for the Bachelor’s Degree are required to have passed their Advanced Level Examinations with at least any two principle passes or must have a Diploma from a recognized Institution of learning or equivalent qualification awarded by a recognized National Examinations body.

Applications for Diploma Course are required to have passed their Advanced Examinations with at least one principal pass or equivalent.

Continuing Students previously registered at other recognized Universities who wish to transfer to Uganda Pentecostal University are welcome
