The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Stafford University Uganda is a vibrant home for interdisciplinary scholarship ringing together diverse disciplines of Public administration, Journalism, Media, Politics, development studies, criminology and policy, sociology and psychology through innovative research approaches.

For administrative purposes, the faculty is divided into five departments each managed by head of department:

  • Journalism and Communication Studies
  • Development studies
  • Public Administration and Political studies
  • Social work and social Administration
  • Sociology and Psychology

The Faculty hosts well-established Diploma, undergraduate and short course programs taught with both an international and local focus to suit students’ needs.
