St.Theresa Girls Secondary School Bwanda

Courses Offered

In the new lower secondary curriculum for senior 1 and 2, learners are expected to offer 11 compulsory subjects plus one elective study, making a total number of 12 subjects.

Interested parents are encouraged to make a guided tour of the school even before the release of PLE/UCE results. Our offices remain open in holidays from Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Intake

The school admits academically and morally good students who have properly passed Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) for Ordinary Level (‘O’ Level) and Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) for Advanced Level (‘A’ Level).

Admissions take place in at the beginning of an academic year for ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level respectively.

Application Forms

Application forms are available from the office of the Headteacher . The following documents must be attached to the completed application form:

  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Two passport-sized photographs of the applicant
  • Copy of School Leaving Certificate from previous school
  • Copies of recent Progress Report cards from the previous class, issued by the last school attended
  • Copy of previous public exam results (UNEB)

  • Bedding: A mattress, a mat, a pillow, two pillow cases, two pairs of bed sheets, a blanket and a light green bed cover, a mosquito net, knee high stockings.
  • A plate, cup, folk, spoon and peeling knife, a flask
  • A suitable night wear, 6 knickers and 2 petticoats, black colored shoes, sports shoes, hand watch.
  • Enough sanitary pads, 5 rolls of toilet paper, washing and bathing soap, toothpaste, Vaseline, toothbrush, hair combs and razor blades.
  • One bucket or a washing basin and a jerrycan, charcoal box.
  • Padlocks, a strong lockable case, an umbrella, a torch and batteries.
  • Pocket money of not less than 10,000=.
  • Photocopy of your primary 7 results.
  • 4 kgs of sugar.
