St. Joseph’s Girls’ S.S.S Nsambya is a Catholic founded private school, started in January 1967 by the Little Sisters of St. Francis who up to date are the administrators. It is a Girls only “O” and “A” level boarding school located in Kampala off Ggaba Road, in Makindye Division, Kampala District. The idea to start this school was born out of a need to promote the then neglected education for girls in the country.
School Curriculum
Our school develops girls to tackle challenges of life beyond school. Our academic program sequentially develops young minds to think in a more rounded manner that places concepts and skills ahead of content, through critical thinking and reflection. Students here follow the Current National Curriculum of Uganda.
We also offer bursaries to students who have got 4 aggregates from their Primary Leaving Exams (PLE) and a student who emerges first in her class gets an offer of studying for free the next term.
“This is done to encourage class competition”
