Reserve the Business Name.

Obtain a Certificate of Incorporation.

What is the stamp duty for registering a company in Uganda?

Stamp duty of 0.5% is incurred on the formation of a company and capital-raising activities (e.g. increase of share capital).

A stamp duty of 1.5% applies on all transfers, including the transfer of shares and property.
