A passport is an official travel document issued by a government that contains a person’s identity.
A person with a passport can travel to and from foreign countries more easily and access consular assistance. A passport certifies the personal identity and nationality of its holder.

National ID or National Identification Number.
Recommendation Letter and Recommender National ID.

How long does it take to get a Ugandan passport?
It takes 10 working days to process a passport with the regular fees, Ugx 250,000, and 2 working
days for the Express Process at Ugx 400,000.
What are the latest Ugandan passports?
Ugandan machine-readable passports will no longer be valid for international travel after April 4,
2022, and will be replaced by international East African e-passports.
What are the different types of passports issued in Uganda?
The Passport Regulations provide for three (3) types of Passports i.e. Diplomatic, Official, and Ordinary.
