How do you use Jik?
Wash the necessary areas and rinse after 30 seconds . Add 1/4 cup (62.5ml) of JIK to 5 liters of water.
Soak stained items for 5-15 minutes.
Rinse and wash the detergent as usual.
How long should I soak white clothes in Jik?
Whitening and brightening: Mix ¼ cup (62.5 ml) of Jik Bleach in a bucket of water (10 litres). Soak whites and colorfast items for 10-15 minutes.
Rinse and then wash with detergent as usual. Add 1/4 cup (62.5 ml) Jik Multi Action to 5 L water, soak garments for 15-30 minutes, then rinse.
What happens if you put too much bleach on white clothes?
Used like this, it can actually cause yellowing by either breaking down the fibers or destroying the florescent whitening agents on the fabric of the garment.
Not much you can do for this problem, but repeated washing may lessen the yellow appearance.
Can Jik be used to clean toilet?
Alternatively, Add ½ cup (125 ml) of Jik Thin Bleach into the toilet bowl, down drains and plugholes.
Rinse after 10 minutes. Do not use with any other toilet/household cleaner.
