What is Diesel?
Diesel fuel, also called diesel oil, is any liquid fuel specifically designed for use in a diesel engine,
a type of internal combustion engine in which fuel ignition takes place without a spark as a result of compression of the inlet air and then injection of fuel.

Between diesel and petrol which one runs faster?
Though the diesel variant has a higher torque than the petrol, it does so at a lower RPM due to which shifting is necessary sooner than that on the petrol.
Thus the petrol produces more power and accelerates from 0 to 100 quicker.
Why diesel is good for long drive?
With diesel vehicles, you can expect more torque to be available lower in the rev range.
That’s why trucks and machinery rely on diesel as it’s better equipped to deal with a heavier load and withstand longer distance driving.
