This institution was established in 1955 by training enrolled nurses. The institution was officially opened on 26th October 1956 by Lady Cohen who was the representative of the Queen of England in the Country.

The school’s Mission is to Produce Competent Nurses and Midwives delivering Quality Health Care Services for Healthy Nations. The school’s Vision is to be a hub of excellence in Education of Competent Nurses and Midwives. And the Goal is to improve the Capacities in producing competent nurses and midwives.
