Industrialisation Fund for Developing Countries Internship
The Industrialisation Fund for Developing Countries (IFU) offers two internships in the autumn;
One at IFU’s regional office in Nairobi and IFU’s regional office in Beijing.
Internship tasks:
During the internship, your primary task will be to make an analysis of climate investments in emerging markets.
Furthermore, you will perform other tasks at the office, such as advising Danish and local companies about financing and other issues, in particular during the start-up phase of the project companies.
The tasks will be handled in cooperation with the rest of the team at the regional office.
Working time will be 20-30 hours a week in accordance with the course credit requirements at your university.
Purpose of the internship:
The internship will be part of your education, and it will be arranged to ensure course credit transfer, if allowed by your university.
Duration:
3-6 months during the autumn term as agreed with you and in accordance with the course credit requirements at your university.
Qualifications:
BA completed as a minimum
Good Danish and English skills, written as well as verbal
Knowledge of local market and language in China and Kenya/East Africa, respectively, an advantage
IT at user level.
Salary:
The internship is unpaid, but IFU will cover all expenses for food, accommodation, flight tickets to Nairobi and Beijing, respectively, visa and vaccinations.

What level of priority should be given to Danish/European climate investments compared to general investments in China/East Africa?The internship will take place from August to December as agreed with you and in cooperation with your university.
