Step 1: Dail shortcode *197# on your phone
Step 2: Select Option 2 of “Check ID Number” and later Option 1 to “Check NIN“
Step 3: Enter your NIN to be able to view all numbers affiliated with that national ID number. Remember you have to enter the exact NIN used to register that phone number.
Step 4: To remove numbers linked to your NIN on both MTN and Airtel, you will have to submit a request to have them deregistered at a service center. Remember to carry your National ID for identification.
