How Many Semesters Are There In A Year In Uganda

An academic term is a portion of an academic year, the time during which an educational institution holds classes. The schedules adopted vary widely.

In most countries, the academic year begins in late summer or early autumn and ends during the following spring or summer.

There are two semesters per academic year.

There are two semesters per academic year (Fall, Spring) each about 16 weeks, and a shorter summer semester of about 12 weeks.

Each Semester runs for 4 Months. Students in their 2nd year of study are each required to undertake an internship for 2 months.
