What is an ARV Drug?
The management of HIV/AIDS normally includes the use of multiple antiretroviral drugs as a strategy to control HIV infection.

What are the benefits of starting ARV early?
ART can lower the viral load to an undetectable level, but this can take as long as 6 months .
A low or undetectable HIV viral load allows your immune system to do a better job of protecting you from illness.
What happens when you skip ARVs for 2 days?
If you skip doses, even now and then, you give HIV the chance to multiply rapidly.
This could weaken your immune system, and you could become sick. Talk to your health care provider if you miss a dose.
