Kanjuki Secondary School is a school in Kayunga, Ntenjeru County, Central Uganda. Kanjuki Secondary School is situated nearby to the schools Kanjuki Church of Uganda Primary School and Kanjuki Community Nursery School.
The garden is located in Kanjuki village, 18km far from Kayunga town. The school enrolls 1017 students and 226 students (out of which 164 are girls) are involved in the garden activities with classes from senior one to senior three.
The school garden measures one and a half acres of land, on which crops like African eggplant (nakati), collard greens (sukuma wiki), cabbages and bananas are grown from seeds obtained by saving some from the previous season and buying others from the local shops when there is need.
Animal manure from cows and goats is the main input for soil fertility management while the borehole serves as the main source of water for irrigating the garden in dry periods. The students participate in planting, and weeding.
