It is generally equivalent to the title of a chartered accountant in other English-speaking countries.

Which institutions offer CPA in Uganda?
CPA(U) course is currently examinable from six (6) examination centers around Uganda namely Arua, Gulu, Mbale, Fort Portal, Mbarara, and Kampala.
Students are at liberty to choose examination centers of their preference.
How long does CPA take to complete in Uganda?
A diploma pursued in a period of at least two years from a recognized university or Institution of Higher Learning.
