Muni University Application For Admission To Undergraduate Degree Programs Private Sponsorship

The Academic Registrar Muni University invites applications from qualified and interested Diploma Holder applicants for admission to the under-listed undergraduate degree programmes on Private Sponsorship Academic Year. The deadline for application is Friday 15th October.

General admission requirements Eligible candidates under the Diploma Holders’ category Must possess:

i) At least a Second Class or Credit Diploma in a relevant field (refer to Table below) from a recognized institution plus;
ii) UACE with at least One (1) Principal pass and Two (2) subsidiaries obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent, and
iii) UCE with at least Five (5) passes level or its equivalent.
NOTE: In addition to the minimum entry requirements, there are specific requirements for each programme which candidates MUST fulfil before they are admitted to the programme.

4.0. Specific programme requirements
4.1. Bachelor of Nursing Science
(i) Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council, and for other disciplines must be registered with their relevant professional Councils/bodies.
(ii) Should possess a minimum of two (2) years’ work experience after registration with their relevant professional Councils/bodies.
(iii) Must sit and pass the Muni University pre-entry examination (Date will be communicated after the deadline of application).
5.0. Other Pertinent Information
(i) All applicants are REQUIRED to submit (by mail: ar@muni.ac.ug) scanned copies of the certified of Diploma/Degree Transcripts and Certificates.
(ii) Applicants who will NOT have submitted CERTIFIED documents in (i) above by the close of the deadline of application, will not be selected for pre-entry examination.

6.0. How to Apply
The application is Online. Please follow the Online application procedure below. The applicant MUST have an active (functional) email address and a Mobile phone number.
(i) Login: https://admissions.muni.ac.ug/
(ii) Sign up using full name, e-mail and mobile number. Please note that your name must be similar to the one on your supporting documents for your application to be accepted by the system.
(iii) A password will be sent to both your e-mail and mobile telephone number.
(iv) The system will prompt you to change the password to the one you can easily remember.
(v) To fill application form, the applicant clicks on the APPLY NOW button displayed on the running scheme.
(vi) Obtain a payment advice slip by clicking on the “Pay for the Form” button and get the reference number, which you will take to the bank.
(vii) Pay a non-refundable application fee plus bank charge at any Bank branch (NOT Bank Agents) or through Mobile Money on the system;
Ugandans and East Africa (Incl. South Sudan): Ug. shs. 50,000 (Fifty thousand shillings)
Other Nationals: Equivalent of USD 50.
