The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will release the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results on Friday.
This is the third set of national examinations to be released after the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) and 020 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results that were released last month.
The Ministry of Education said the Uganda National Examination Board (Uneb) will brief Ms. Janet Museveni about the performance of students on Wednesday.
Education Ministry says the release of results will be conducted under strict observance of COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).
All officers from the Ministry of Education, Uneb and journalists are required to test for COVID-19 before accessing the venue.
The release of UACE examinations comes at a time when the Ministry of Education has not yet conducted Senior One and Senior Five selections that is usually conducted before Senior Six results are released.
During the release of both PLE and UACE results, Ms Museveni said the Ministry of Education will set dates for Senior One and Five selections after the lockdown has been lifted.
Uneb conducted all sets of national exams in April as opposed to the usual November/December following the closure of schools in 2020 due to coronavirus.
A total of 98,393 students sat for UACE.
