The Academic Registrar invites applications from qualified DIPLOMA AND
DEGREE HOLDERS to fill the available Admission slots under PRIVATE
Sponsorship Scheme for August Intake 2020/2021 AY. The Closing date for
application is 31st May 2020.
Minimum Entry Requirements
[1] Diploma Holders’ applicants MUST possess:
i) At least a Second Class or Credit Diploma in a relevant field from a
recognized institution, and;
ii) U.A.C.E with at least One (1) Principal pass and Two (2) Subsidiary
passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent, and
iii) U.C.E with at least Five (5) passes obtained at the same sitting or its
equivalent.
[2] BED- Primary Applicants MUST hold a Diploma in Education (Primary)
from a recognized institution; with two (2) subjects of specialization.
[3] PGDE Applicants MUST hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized
institution, and his/her Bachelor’s Degree should have two (2) teaching subjects.

Mode of Application
[1] Application is Online.

[3] Signup using full name, e-mail and mobile Number. Please note that your name must be similar to the one on your supporting documents for your application to be accepted by the system.
[4] A password will be sent to both your e-mail and mobile telephone number.
[5] The system will prompt you to change the password to the one you can
easily remember.
[6] To fill a form, the applicant clicks on the apply now button displayed on the running scheme.
[7] Obtain a payment advice slip by clicking on “Pay for the Form” button and get the reference number, which you will take to the bank.
[8] Pay a non-refundable fee of Ug. shs. 50,000 (fifty thousand shillings) plus
bank charge at any Bank, and NOT Agents.

[2] Diploma Holder applicants for Bachelor of Nursing Science programme
should have scored at least a Credit in English Language at ‘O’ Level.
Successful applicants will be REQUIRED to sit for Pre-Entry Examination
(Date shall be communicated in due course).
[3] All applicants are REQUIRED to submit (by mail- below) certified copies of Diploma/Degree Transcripts and Certificates.
[4] The fees indicated in Table above relate to Tuition fees per
Semester/Holiday session only, and exclude Functional fees. Detailed fees
structure can be viewed/downloaded from the Website.
[5] Special arrangements will be made to support applicants for Bachelor of
Education (Primary).

DIPLOMA HOLDERS’ AVENUE
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR DIPLOMA HOLDERS SEEKING
ADMISSION TO BACHELORS DEGREE PROGRAMMES
1.0. MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (GENERIC)
Eligible candidates under the Diploma Holders’ category Must possess:
i) At least a Second Class or Credit Diploma in a relevant field from a
recognized institution plus;
ii) UACE with at least One (1) Principal pass and Two (2) subsidiaries
obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent, and
iii) UCE with at least Five (5) passes level or its equivalent.
NOTE:
In addition to the minimum entry requirements, there are specific
requirements for each programme which candidates MUST fulfill before they are admitted unto the programme.
2.0. PROGRAMME SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

i) Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council, and
for other disciplines must be registered with their relevant professional

iii) Must pass an entrance examination of Muni University.
