Diploma in Clinical Medicine and community health offers comprehensive knowledge, clinical and hands on experience that prepare graduates with the ability to access and handle common and emerging medical conditions in the community and all aspects of health care.

The programme for the training of clinical officers has been
recognised and excuted by the government for the last 70 years.

Objectives for training clinical officers at the end of the program, the graduates are able to provide creative, preventive, promote and
rehabilitative healthcare services to the community and refer patients where necessary.

Clinical Courses offered at St. Francis School of Health Sciences

Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health

3 years

Entry Requirements:
– Principal pass in Biology and a subsidiary pass in Chemistry plus a subsidiary pass in any science subject.

Diploma in Clinical & Community Nutrition

3 years

Entry Requirements:
– O’ level with at least 5 passes
– A Principal pass in Biology or Food & Nutrition and any two subsidiaries in sciences subjects.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

NOTE:

i) Scanned Copies of both O’ level and A’ level result slips/ Certificates, and other qualifications should be attached to this form.

ii) Candidates selected for any programme of study will be required to present Original Certificates at the time of registration.

iii) It is essential that you complete all the relevant sections of this form. This will ensure efficient processing of your admission.

iv) Please, submit fully filled application to the admissions portal to ease processing.

v) Note: Each attachment should be less than 2mb

How To Apply?

Any one can join SFRASH only when he or she meets the minimum requirements for the available courses.

Any candidate with the right qualifications pays an application fee of shs. 60,000/= (sixty thousand shillings) and he or she shall be issued with a set of application forms which should be filled and returned back to the college.

Candidates can also apply online by downloading the applications, fill them and then upload them as directed on the online application page. Click here for more info.

Successful candidates are issued with an admission form for May or August Intake.

Application forms can be picked at the college office found at Namataba – Off Jinja highway [Mukono District] or Download online and fill them before delivering to the college.
