Being aware of the growing economic interdependence and globalisation, a programme of Business Administration is not only suitable for students who wish to acquire a broad-based training for a career in business, management and government sectors, but also for graduates who wish to complement their degrees with a more business oriented qualification.

The business administration curriculum is designed to provide a sound familiarity with the many intricate but practical business concepts. Furthermore, it is designed to expose students to the challenges facing today’s managers in both business and industry. The curriculum is composed of general education courses to broaden the students’ education base, major required courses to provide a broad base of business administration expertise, and a block of electives. The electives allow the student to build a unique educational experience designed to meet individual needs.

The faculty offers the following courses:

Courses Offered At Uganda Pentecostal University Faculty of Business Administration

Bachelor of Business Administration Programme (BBA), Duration: 3 years
Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics Management (BPLM), Duration: 3 years
Diploma in Business Administration (DBA), Duration: 2 years

Admission Requirements

Application forms for admission to The UPU are available at the Admissions and Registration office and they can be downloaded from our website, www.upu.ac.ug. A complete application package should be submitted in full to the office not later than one month before the opening of the semester applied for. Applications that do not meet the deadline will be considered in subsequent admissions. Only complete applications which consist of the following will be processed:
→ A completed and signed application form
→ Official copies of all secondary, post- secondary, college and university certificates
→ Four recent coloured passport size photographs
→ International applicants must have their academic certificates and transcripts translated in English and equated by the National Council for Higher education.
