Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU)  partners with United Nations University – EGOV to boost ICT in Uganda

The United Nations University – EGOV has partnered with Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) on a project to develop a strategy to enhance and sustain the ICT function in the government of Uganda.

The UNU-EGOV team following a meeting with the UTAMU team will support them in the project.

The representatives from UNU-EGOV met with the UTAMU Team on Wednesday, 31st August at the university campus in Bugolobi to plan for the project.

UTAMU will be the local partner in this project and provide several experts to ensure its implementation and success. Some of these experts will be in the fields of Public policy, ICT, Legal and Human Resources. The UTAMU team is led by Dr. Rehema Baguma, a lecturer at the University.

The UNU-EGOV team is in a meeting with the UTAMU team that will support them in the project.
