Muni University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with RIELA 2019
Muni University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with RIELA Karl-Heinz Knoop (A German Investment Company) in which the two parties seek to establish a partnership to develop projects and businesses in Uganda.
The Projects will focus on Agriculture, Biomas, Rural Development and innovation centred on Training, Technology and knowledge development.The main focus will be on post-harvest loss management to reduce losses,and improve marketing.
The common vision is to Transform rural livelihoods through provision of innovative,practical and replicable solutions to the challenges facing the Agricultural sector, with the aim of enhancing rural livelihood through promotion of innovative agribusiness initiative for rural development.
The agreement was signed on 20th September 2019 in Germany, by the Vice Chancellor Professor Christine Dranzoa and the University Secretary/ Accounting Officer Rev. Fr. Dr. Odubuker Picho Epiphany on behalf of Muni University and Prof. h. c. Karl-Heinz Knoop for RIELA Company.
