Mbarara University of Science and Technology Department of Pharmacy
The BSc. Pharmaceutical Science is a three year Program that focuses on training highly competent Pharmaceutical Scientists; capable of providing technical expertise in the pharmaceutical sector within Uganda and Internationally. Satisfactory completion of the program leads to award of the “Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences” of Mbarara University of Science and Technology.

Admission Requirement
A candidate should hold the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent and either, A’ level (UACE) with one principal pass in any subject done at the same sitting or its equivalent.
Or a degree/s in any field from a recognized university.
Or a diploma in any field of study from a recognized Institution.

Fees structure
(i) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Course duration is 5 years)
(ii) Bachelor of Pharmacy (Course duration is 4 years)
(iii) Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (Course duration is 4 years)
(iv) Bachelor of Nursing Science (Course duration is 4 years)
(v) Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Course duration is 3 years)
(vi) Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (Course duration is 4 years)
Tuition fees $4,800 p.a.
Functional fees $ 600 p.a.
