SUN Online Application Procedure
- Simply complete the Soroti University Online Application Form stated below and upload all of the necessary documentation so that it can be processed by our administrative department.
- Please print the application form and attach certified copies of the transcripts, certificates, and a passport-size photograph and submit them to office 608, level 6, Senate Building of Makerere University Or Office of the Academic Registrar Soroti University multipurpose building, level 2, office Other relevant information can be obtained from the admissions office, level 2 office 7, multipurpose building, Soroti University.
Applicants should use the following codes during Application.

SUN Offline (Manual) Application Procedure
- OBTAIN Application Forms from Soroti University Admissions Office at Main Campus, Plot 50 & 51 Arapai, PO Box 211 Soroti, Uganda.
- Fill the form with the necessary documents attached as well as with the original copy of the application fee payment deposit slip and send it to:

- No application is valid unless the appropriate application fee has been paid.

Application Fees & Payment
- Non-refundable application fee of shs.50,000/= for Ugandans, East Africans and Sudan applicants or $75 or equivalent for internationals, Ugx.281,250= plus bank charge of Ugx 2,750/= should be paid from any bank using the reference number generated from the system.
MOBILE MONEY PAYMENT STEPS:
- Dial *272*6# on either Mtn or Airtel
- Select option 3-Admission
- Select option 3-Pay Fees
- Enter the reference number obtained from the Application portal
- Details of the Application form will be confirmed
- Enter PIN to confirm payment
Soroti University, SU Uganda offers undergraduate courses at Diploma levels besides those offered at the Postgraduate degree levels. Prospective students should apply by filling the application forms before the deadline date as it is communicated by the Admissions office. Late applications are only accepted if the program space allows. These should be received not later than two weeks after the start of the appropriate semester; OR not later than a week after the beginning of a session. The admission procedure includes the Master’s Program applicants.
Once you submit your form, you must pay the application fee for your form to be processed. Otherwise, it will not be processed.

Things you need
- An email address and contact number
- Your academic Documents to pick Key details like award institution, index number for ” O” and “A” levels, year of award or sitting

How to Do it
Step 1: Accessing the Application Portal Link
Access the online application link as listed in the advert. Ensure that the page is secure before you continue.
NOTE: There might be other websites masquerading as the application portal. Only access the link advertised by the university
Step 2: Signup
- Sign up by clicking the orange signup button at the bottom of the If you cannot see the button, your browser could be having a zoom-in setting. Zoom out holding down the “CTRL” button and pressing “+” button on PC and “CMD” and “+” on Mac
- A password (six-digit number) will be sent to Your mobile number and your email
NOTE: Sometimes depending on your Mobile Telecom service provider, the message may delay or not be delivered. In this case, don’t panic, simply check your email. The same information is sent to your email as well.
- Log in using this password and your email address or your mobile number by selecting the “login with Tel No” option
- After Logging in, you will be prompted to change the password to the one you can Password should have at least a length of six characters.
- The system will take you back to the login prompt to now login with your new password
Step 3: Filling a Form
After Logging in, click on the “APPLY NOW” Button to view the advertised Schemes, Read the instructions carefully for each of the schemes you want to apply for
Fill in the application form accordingly. To submit there is minimum information that must be captured. If you don’t have this information ready, simply save the form and return later to complete it when you have all the information required to submit the application form
